I'm very excited to be able to join Valerie in this exciting world of blogging! It is sort of fitting that there was an article on cnn.com today from Matt Mullnweg, the co-founder of WordPress, where he listed his top blogs that make him think. Some of them were a little technical but a couple may become my new favorites. Hopefully we will give you a few things to ponder and maybe a chuckle too.

First time blogger

Usually, at this time, I am out running errands and listening to NPR..."Car Talk" followed by "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." Instead, today I spent some of the morning learning how to create a blog for all of you fascinated readers. Either way, you can already tell that my life is incredibly interesting! More to follow as I learn about this creative venue and more too when my friend, Adele, chimes in with her astute observations of the world...Over and out for now, just realized I can still catch my shows on NPR.
